  17.     ppeerrmmlliinntt examines the permlist file, _pppp_eeee_rrrr_mmmm_llll_iiii_ssss_tttt, and returns 0 if no syntax
  18.     errors are encountered, or it generates a list of messages if it
  19.     encounters errors or unusual permlist entries.  Permlists are generated
  20.     automatically by the ddooccuutt(SMT) utility.  Use ppeerrmmlliinntt to check the syn-
  21.     tax of permlists that have been edited manually.

  25.     ppeerrmmlliinntt supports the following options:

  27.     --ii   suppresses error messages regarding UID/GID values that do not match
  28.          those of the system

  30.     --LL   suppresses warning messages regarding link names with volume numbers

  32.     --pp   suppresses error messages regarding unusual permissions
  33.  
  34.     --qq   reports errors only
  35.  
  36.     --QQ   only reports syntax errors that ffiixxppeerrmm(M) would detect
  37.  
  38.     --uu   displays command line usage, then quits
